Michael Badu

Michael Badu was born in south London in 1977 and trained as an architect at The University of Sheffield (under, among others, Peter Blundell Jones), London South Bank University (under, among others, Peter Allison and FAT's Sean Griffiths) and Cambridge University.

Michael spent his formative years as an architect working in the public sector (Norwich County Council, education projects) before working with listed buildingsfor a variety of clients in the south east of England, in his capacity as project architect for Thomas Ford & Partners Architects.

Like our Renaissance, Enlightenment and Rationalist forbears, Michael Badu Architecture considers the Identification of historical precedent and typology as important touchstones in the design process, with the 'right' architectural solution being based on judgement informed by study, discussion and collaboration.

By taking this approach MBA aims to repay wider society's faith in architects by furnishing it with buildings that stand the test of time.
